This space combines all the elements of sustainable agriculture in a spacious and free-to-access community park, designed to promote closer engagement with the neighboring communities of the Vásquez de Coronado canton. Construction on the park began as part of the 79th anniversary celebrations of the Institute. Its park areas and gardens span 455 m² and it has the capacity to accommodate  230 people. It features a 75 m water trail, which represents a watershed. The Plaza also has planting beds representing the varied topography of the Americas, with designs symbolizing rectangular, flat, curved and terraced farms and vegetation that is representative of the countries.
